Happy Halloween!
Yesterday, our dayhome celebrated Halloween by having an afternoon kids party! The party started at 2:00pm where the kids were welcomed with some "scary treats!" For snacktime our menu was: Pumpkin Barf, Zombie Teeth, Ants on a Log, and Pumpkin Cookies! It was an easy (and healthy) snack. Parents, I didn't just jack your children up on sugar! Our pumpkin barf consisted of homemade guacamole, pita bread and hummus, our zombie teeth were red delicious apples with mini marshmallows, our ants on a log were celery sticks with peanut butter and raisens and of course, cookies are cookies!
As I didn't have much time (or inspiration) to go all out on decorating the house, I put up a 'haunted hallway' that consisted of black garbage bags and spooky music. The kids enjoyed this for about 5 minutes and then were consumed with the glory of being in their costumes!
Here are some pictures of these seriously adorable children. We are missing a picture of a Ninja and another little boy who was supposed to be a turtle. Parents if you have photos of them in costume, please send and I will put them up on the website!
Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Halloween!
Stay warm tonight !
