My educational background and previous work experience includes:
-4 year Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Applied Psychology
-Family Support for Children with Disabilities Caseworker
-Foster Care Caseworker
-McMan Youth, Family and Community Services; Family Development Worker
-COPE Society for Persons with Disabilities Support Worker
-CYRC: Coordinator & Child and Youth Care Counselor
-Big Brothers Big Sisters In-School Mentor
For your child’s safety it is recommended that your day home provider has completed the following:
Sweet Babies Family Day Home has completed:
-A Clean Police Security Check
-A Clean Child Intervention Check
(Completed by Alberta Children and Youth Services)
- Red Cross Standard First Aid Level C and CPR (including infants)
-Suicide Intervention Certificate
-Food Safety and Handling Certificate
Your children are our number one priority when at Sweet Babies Family Day Home and we like to ensure that both child and parent feel welcome, safe and happy here. Leaving your child for the first time can be a very scary experience, and we completely understand this. If there is anything we can do to make this transition easier on you and your child, please let us know.
